Why the blog?
After several failed spine surgeries, my lifestyle has dramatically changed. Needing to find joy in the smallest things, the idea to paint my nails a bright and cheery color came to light. Now, a few years later, I find myself enjoying painting and wearing nail polish and nail-art. The activities involved in posting these designs has become therapeutic in dealing with the chronic pain I manage each day. Reading other nail blogs, finding inspiration for designs, creating the nail art, photographing and cataloging the images, and writing about the experiences provides me a needed escape.What to expect?
When I started back in 2013, not only was I a total novice in nail-art, but also a newbie in pampering my hands/nails as well as polishing in general. Like everything in my life, my posts will be shared as I am able to work on them rather than on a scheduled routine.My need to share lots of details and photos is your gain. Most posts will include not just the basics about the nail art design, but also helpful stuff like what worked and what didn't, where you can buy the products I rave about, and often the steps to take to get the look.
